We are here for you!
We often describe St. Mary’s as a community. One of the ways this is most true is in our care and concern for one another during times of hardship, loss, and stress. In the Church, we call this “Pastoral Care.” In the midst of sickness, death, trauma, the birth of a baby, or any other major transition, we are here for each other – in prayer but also in action. If you think you or someone you love may be in need of pastoral counseling, special prayers, a visit at home, some help with meals, spiritual companionship, or some other kind of care, let the clergy know by calling St. Mary’s office at 415-921-3665 or emailing at
[email protected]. Pastoral Care is truly a ministry of the people. We are a spiritual support team, and offer nourishment, both spiritual and physical, as well as open hearts and minds and ears to those who ask for our presence.
The Pastoral Care Ministry Team is made up of a devoted group of parishioners who are willing and able to be with parishioners in prayer and provide emotional support in times of joy, illness, loss, grief, loneliness, addiction and other life events.
