St. Mary's Receives EIF Grant

The Diocese of California’s Episcopal Impact Fund (EIF) has awarded a $5,000 grant to St. Mary’s in support of its migration accompaniment ministry, Nueva Esperanza Accompaniment Team (NEAT). In partnership with Jewish Congregation Sherith Israel, this interfaith NEAT helps migrants and asylum seekers establish independent lives of dignity as they adjust to their new lives in our community. Through grants to community organizations and individual congregations ,EIF (link here)“supports organizations that address the root causes of poverty in the San Francisco Bay Ares” This is the third $5,000 grant for its migration ministry that St. Mary’s has received from EIF over the past four years.
