Supporting MECA During the Children’s Offertory Collection

The children's offertory collection helps support The Middle East Children’s Alliance, a nonprofit organization working for the rights and the well-being of children in the Middle East. MECA supports dozens of community projects for Palestinian children and refugees from Syria. Since 1988 this Berkeley-based organization has delivered $29 million in food and medical aid to Palestine, Gaza, Iraq, and Lebanon. It seems fitting that our Sunday school children and families should support children in these strife torn lands, the very places where Jesus grew up and traveled.
